Each green square in the graphic, is 1 pace, 0.67 meters, from the green crosses directly to the side and directly in front of it. Everything happens without the ball touching the ground from the time it is flipped up prior to kick 1. The distance from the start point to the point directly across from the start point is 20 paces, 13.4 meters, which is also the approximate distance from the start point to the target of shots point. Pattern: Kick ball on 45 degree slant to left 4 paces with left foot, step with right, step with left; kick ball on 45 degree slant to right 3 paces with right foot, step with left; kick ball on 45 degree slant to right 4 paces with right foot, step with left, step with right; kick ball at target with left foot. Target: Cone approx 20 paces or 13.4 meters from start. Target was an orange ground cone. Counted as hit if ball missed cone horizontally by less than 1 pace, 0.67 meters. For misses, miss distance is distance from center of target. Due to distance between self and target reduced by 4.5 meters by air-dribble run prior to shot, shots on average were taken approx 9 meters from target. |
