Pork beef bacon followed be exercise, followed by eggs, followed by fish and milk--the ideal pattern of combination for food and exercise?

The table shown below on this page shows that judging from the relative ranks of foods (cols D and E) in terms of their ability to provide various groups of amino acids, it is virtually impossible looking at the top 1000 results returned at nutritiondata, from a vegetarian-type viewpoint to find a food that is an excellent source of lysine leucine and glycine, that is not an even better source of tyrosine threonine and serine.

The strange thing is that the relative ranks of the foods in terms of their strengths as providers of lysine-leucine-glycine or tyrosine-threonine-serine, do not correspond with the ratio of the total lysine+leucine+glycine in the food compared to the total tyrosine+threonine+serine for the food.

This could be because: a food's rank is pushed to an exaggeratedly low level because of listing of many foods that are all duplicates of each other (ie 20 different types of soy flour) above it in the ranks; also, the change in amino acids of a given group relative to a change in rank, differs depending upon the group of amino acids according to which the food is being ranked.

Looking at the results, the general rule when a food has  the same rank for the lysine leucine glycine group as it does for the tyrosine threonine serine group, is that the mgs total of the lysine leucine glycine group is 1.63 times the same measure for the tyrosine threonine serine group.

Meaning or indicating, that when a food's mg lysine-leucine-glycine total is more than 1.63 times the food's mg tyrosine threonine serine total, the food is above average in terms of emphasizing lysine-leucine-glycine and de-emphasizing tyrosine-threonine-serine; and when a food's mg lysine-leucine-glycine total is less than 1.62 times the food's mg tyrosine threonine serine total, the food is below average in terms of emphasizing lysine-leucine-glycine while de-emphasizing tyrosine threonine and serine.

In the table below in column F, the number illustrates the ratio between the mgs presence of the lysine-leucine-glycine group and the mgs presence of the tyrosine-threonine-serine group; the higher the number, the better job the food does of emphasizing the lysine-leucine-glycine group while de-emphasizing the tyrosine-threonine-serine group. Here are the leaders for the column F number:

gelatin 5.70
pork skins 3.20
pan fried bacon 2.13
pork chops: 2.08
beef sirloin steak 2.02
ground beef 2.01
beef top round 1.95
cod 1.87
pumpkin seed kernels 1.86

I found that where a food's rank in the lysine-leucine-glycine group approximately equals its rank in the threonine-tyrosine-serine group, the data was as follows:

food, col D, col F, lysine-leucine-glycine rank, tyrosine-threonine-serine rank.
cod 1.08  1.87; 12-14
tofu 1.06 1.49; 32-34;
smelt 1.00 1.68; 23-23
dry milk 0.98 1.34; 42-41
tilapia 1.03 1.87; 659-676
perch 1.10 1.87; 697-766
pollock 1.11 1.87; 844-937
1.05 1.71; 289-311 =
1.00 1.63; 289-311
Thus a low score significantly below 1.63 in column F signifies that conversely, the food in question does a good job of emphasizing the tyrosine-threonine-serine group, while de-emphasizing the lysine-leucine-glycine group.

Leaders in terms of low score in column F:

whitefish 0.49
dried egg yolk 1.08
egg white powder 1.17
spirulina 1.29
parmesan cheese 1.23
sesame seeds 1.28
spanish peanuts 1.30

Note: thus far I have at nutritiondata, searched for the leaders in terms of lysine-leucine-glycine, and found the corresponding threonine-tyrosine-serine figures for these leaders. Also I have searched for the leaders in terms of threonine-tyrosine-serine, and found the corresponding lysine-leucine-glycine figures for these leaders.

Thus far, it has been difficult to find foods whose column F ratio is more than 125% of 1.63 or 2.04, or less than 80% of 1.63, or 1.30.

( (1.63/(1.25x1.63))=0.80=((0.8x1.63)/1.63).

Looking at the data thus far it looks like, a good heart-healthy diet (amino acids perspective roughly speaking would be:

Non-vegetarians:
Pre-physical-activity-meal: Pork chops, bacon, steak, and pumpkin seeds plus (optional for the brave) gelatin and pork skins.
Post-physical-activity-meal: whitefish, egg omelet made with parmesan cheese, spirulina, sesame seeds, and peanuts
In-between post-physical activity meal and pre-physical activity meal meal: cod fish, tofu, smelt fish, and milk

Vegetarians who tolerate fish dairy and egg:
Pre-physical-activity-meal: pumpkin seeds
Post-physical-activity-meal: whitefish, egg omelet made with parmesan cheese, spirulina, sesame seeds, and peanuts
In-between post-physical activity meal and pre-physical activity meal meal: tofu, and milk

Vegetarians who tolerate dairy and egg:
Pre-physical-activity-meal: pumpkin seeds
Post-physical-activity-meal: egg omelet made with parmesan cheese, spirulina, sesame seeds, and peanuts
In-between post-physical activity meal and pre-physical activity meal meal: tofu, and milk

Intolerant/financially-challenged vegetarians"
Pre-physical-activity-meal: pumpkin seeds
Post-physical-activity-meal: spirulina, sesame seeds, and peanuts
In-between post-physical activity meal and pre-physical activity meal meal: tofu,

The idea for the third meal that comes between the post-activity meal and the pre-activity meal, is that this meal should utilize foods that are leaders in terms of providing both the lysine-leucine-glycine pre-exercise amino acids, and also the tyrosine-threonine-serine post-exercise amino acids, and which besides such leadership have the two groups of amino acids in balance with each other.

The pattern that is emerging, is one involving: pork/beef and seeds before the activity, eggs seeds and nuts after the activity, and then for the meal in between the post-activity meal and the pre-activity meal, fish and milk (the lysine-leucine-glycine and tyrosine-threonine-serine amino acid groups in balance).

The picture tht comes to mind, is one of a primeval human society gifted with abundance: beef, pork, eggs and fish all being available; a society able to produce edible meat for consumption as the first meal of the day; a society that values chickens not for chicken meat but for eggs.

There seems to be something sensibly natural about the meat, physical activity ,eggs, fish and milk order.

But this new order is in one sense the opposite of modern tradition in that the meat comes before the activity, and the eggs are consumed after the activity.

It is common knowledge that after an activity there exists suppressed appetite and lack of energy to put into food preparation.

As for fish and milk in the evening, somehow it seems appropriate. Milk helps the body to produce melatonin, which it needs to go to sleep.

Fish has a reputation of being lighter in terms of its burden on the digestive system compared to pork and beef; along this line we've heard much re nefative repercussions of going to sleep with a stomach full of food.
